This email, just received from a friend in SC:
I should hve updated folks on our area of sc earlier——
I and the folks in my area are safe and pretty okay—
40 miles north columbia sc is in bad shape without water and often without
heat-——and then 40 miles south of here on coast and chrleston those
folks have big problems
there are over a 160 bridges closed or gone in central sc and a few
in our area but for the most part it is no problem
