The U.S. military can whoop a** with one hand tied behind its back. In fact, given the ROE they’re saddled with, they have.
The Russian troops, on the other hand, will employ total war tactics; no holds barred. If they are called out on any “war crimes”, they’ll simply thumb their collective nose with a “whaddya gonna do about it” attitude.
Among the total war tactics approved of by Geneva Convention is summary execution of armed, non-uniformed partisans. I expect there will be a lot of that, especially after they extract whatever useful information they can get in their interrogation process.
Putin is not a wimp, like Yeltsin and Gorbachev before him, or the pathetic spoiled brats running the U.S. He will offer no quarter to anything he goes after.
I saw him on Russian television in 2004 after the Muslims blew up that school in Ingushetia. He swore by the throne of Heaven that he would find all those responsible and kill them. He spent the next 5 years doing just that.
Yes, the U.S. military has been a great fighting machine. I served 4 yrs. But today with the gayification that will not last long. How many young guys are going to enlist faced with that? How many parents are going to let their son or daughter enlist now. It’s going to have an effect. Not to mention our wonderful CIC? We’re on our way to becoming Sparta.
