Bravely, and somewhat polished, but is it enough to overcome what is definitely a problem with being sufficiently unique to gain the attention of the Iowa caucus members?

Lacking the star power of The Donald, and the “Our-black-guy-is-better-than-your-black-guy” appeal of Gentle Ben, and the lady parts of iCarly, Ted Cruz is going to have to appeal to reason, and that has been in short supply all over the world.

I kind of like Ted Cruz, but....

Ted Cruz has a very strong ground game in Iowa, and has at least some unofficial support from Sen. Grassley, Rep. Steve King, and plenty of other GOP insiders and regulars.
