The 2016 election year is almost upon us, and Americans of all stripes are preparing for a drawn out political season. Republicans and Democrats will be going to the polls in droves to select their parties’ nominees—and eventually to select the nation’s most powerful political figure.
With so much on the line, the integrity of the electoral system must be ensured. Voters have to be confident that the results reflect the will of the people, or the whole democratic system is undermined.

Why the change? A good number of elections (even for POTUS) have been crooked and manipulated in the past. Voter Fraud has been a long established practice in the USA. Why else do the DemoLibs oppose picture ID for voters? So they can rig crooked elections. Common sense.
Ask yourself WHY, during his recent trip to Kenya, obozo pledged over 50 million bucks to that corrupt government for A VOTER ID PROGRAM as his Just Us department has blown well over that amount trying to PREVENT STATES FROM REQUIRING PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP HERE??
Why not start with Kennedy’s election in 1960?
We can’t tell how common voter fraud is, because the Republicans are not allowed to investigate, the Democrats don’t want to investigate, and anybody who does investigate is labeled a “fringe kook” and stifled by the Media.

I remember back in the 50s a ‘running joke’ was the retirees in FL voting in Florida and their home state.
Was supposedly a joke then but may have been happening, but doesn’t seem so ‘funny’ or impossible now.
The best of the Irony though is BO spending the 50 or so mill for Voter ID in Africa, while fighting it here.
I guess the fact that the sane among us (me included) haven’t ousted this phony proves we are stupid.
I really blame Congress - We (GOPe) takes over the House AND Senate and BO has gotten bolder and gets away with more. Funny how rags like WaPo and the Slimes lament Boners passing and basically encourage him to push his agenda through before leaving.......
In 1988, the RNC had a court order imposed on them. There was a local R party that got a bit overzealous in policing balloting, so the federal judge imposed a nationwide court order on the RNC that they could not challenge voter rolls.
And for the same reason, the IRS came down so strongly on groups like True The Vote, to prevent any such cleansing of the voter rolls.
That the RNC puts up only pro-forma opposition to the continuation of this court order is proof enough that we need a new party, one that won't agree to fight with both hands tied to their ankles.
And likely his 3rd.
