Detectives said Iranian-born teenager's actions were linked to terrorism
Police are now probing why Curtis Cheng, 58, was targeted by lone gunman Farhad Jabar Khalil Mohammad in a 'brutal' and 'callous murder' on Friday.
He was 'just leaving work' at the police headquarters in Parramatta, Sydney, when he was shot in the back of the head by the Iranian-born youth - who was then gunned down by officers.
Mr Cheng, who worked in the Finance and Business Services department for 17 years, had a loving wife and two adult children, both in their 20s. His grieving relatives were pictured today after speaking to police about the shooting which had been described by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull as an 'act of terrorism'.
He confirmed the teenager's actions were 'politically motivated and therefore linked to terrorism'.
Witnesses have described seeing the teenager dancing joyously after shooting the 'gentle' public servant while shouting Allah Allah.

But I thought Australia’s gun laws prevented these kind of incidents.

It has happened here, only the guy used a knife instead of a gun. They are here in large numbers, but are keeping a low profile for now. When in public, when I see someone dressed in muslim garb, I put as much distance between us as possible and I never turn my back on someone dressed in muslim clothing.

That single, solitary muzzie punk killed that guy. One muselim went nuts and killed somebody. Sounds to me like the whole dam bunch of them need to be blamed and have some laws made to keep the vermin under control. Maybe round them all up and throw their azz someplace where nobody has to be around them.
If the government's think that's how you should handle guns, it ought to work just great on goat-humpers too.

Probably a wise precaution on your part if you are in daily contact with people of peace at least as seen by Obama.
Any time I see the name “Mohammad” in a story I know there is a 98.7% chance it’s not going to be good.
