Human nature. Even though it's an anonymous pollster, people feel as though they are being judged on their response.

Anybody who says this is too clueless to have an opinion with caring about.

A narcissist is a person who thinks they are the end all be all. They don't necessarily think the same thing except about themselves. Both have very thin skins due to narcissism, That in my book makes my opinion with caring about.

Carly is still waiting for the call back after the one-night debate stand.

This poll doesn’t have a ring of authenticity to it.

RCP averages the major polls. Trump is in the lead. According to RCP, Trump is at 25%. That is not, "ballgame over". I still think Cruz has a shot. I still think others that can beat Hillary have a shot.

Carson is the candidate for people who are college-educated and lean RINO but are still fairly religious. They’re just liberalized enough to care about proving to people that they’re not racist.

Startstruck and others don’t say some of these things about Trump without reason. I understand that.

Trump has adopted a lot of policies that we have been asking political figures to adopt. When he’s off a bit, he has been tweaking his policies as we desire.

I don’t see a single other candidate out there that is willing to do that.

I like the guy. Is he unpresidential at times? Heck yes. Are those those in the media who attack him stooping to juvenile gotcha politics to do it? Heck yes.

We’ve asked our guys to get in the face of Leftist pundits and talking heads. Now some of us are upset Trump actually is.

Can you be presidential and trash talk back? Probably not.

Trump, thanks for acting unpresidential at times.

It very refreshing!

Trump is unreliable. He is a snake-oil salesman. He is a narcissist. He looks in the mirror and sees the same thing as Obama.

Jimmy Fallon?

Having supported candidates before who had low polling numbers, and having watched what happens to candidates with low polling numbers, I do not share other people’s optimism about Cruz.

Talk about his slow boil and him just biding his time, it’s all wishful thinking. A candidate loves to have die-hard support like that, but it doesn’t translate into a win.

Cruz is now a known quantity. People haven’t bought in.

That leaves one person. For some of you, it leaves no one.

Hey, it is what it is.

"He’s black."

Yep. Too much of his support is for that fact alone. They figure he'll get some of the black vote. Wont happen.

No you don't need Psych classes when you have Fantasywriter posting. It is enough real world experience.

"Why not just say that Carson has four times the following of Trump?"

He probably does is you poll just the previously conjoined twin demographic.

I want to see polls that include registered indys along with reg gop voters. It would give a more accurate number.

What’s he doing? Giving tours? Selling the plans? Training the Chinese and/or Iranians? Are they part of the $150 Bn giveaway?

And having watched Romney and McCain back away from their previous positions, I will stand by the consistent guys. Trump is the "Art of the Deal" guy. He will get things done. I don't think I will like the deal.

Same here. I like Ted Cruz but he's been consistently in that 5-8% range in poll after poll all summer long. Obviously he has a die-hard base but it's not growing. Many here have the notion that if only Trump could be moved out of the picture, that Cruz would surge into the lead and get the nomination. I just don't see that happening at all. We conservatives love him but his appeal outside our little circle drops off pretty quickly.

If anything, Trump has probably protected Cruz by taking the arrows that would otherwise be directed at him.

I’ll put it in simple terms. You don’t know squat about psychology.

And I’m being generous.

OK granted, I don't know squat about psychology and you appear to know squat about psychology so you win.

Sometimes a circus attracts more people than a church service, but I'm not putting my salvation in the hands of a clown.

Ben Carson has arguably been immersed in a cult twice. A circus is just entertainment.
