It was Bush that agreed to withdraw all US forces from Iraq and it was Bush that set the withdraw date. O certainly has blood on his hands but so does W.

Bush's agreement also entailed a possible continuation of the US forces in Iraq, which Obama derailed. Bush had his hand forced by the Democratic Congress, but left an escape hatch for the next president. The next president decided to say he was going to continue the troop presence, but behind the scenes sabotaged the process. Especially by sending the viperous Secretary of State to do the negotiations.

The Bush administration completely underestimated the forces required to occupy Iraq. The Bush administration had a completely unrealistic understanding of the Islamic culture of Iraq. Bush and all the other neocons thought they could turn Iraq into a Jeffersonian republic in just a few years. The mess we now have in the middle east is a direct consequence of gross incompetence of George W Bush. The blood of Christians all through out the Middle East and north Africa is on W hands.

Until conservatives repudiate the policy blunders of W they will not be taken seriously by the American people. Even JEB understands this and has admitted the invasion of Iraq was a mistake.
