Ah, it was the workers, not the company.

Got it.

Porsche hasn’t supplied engines to Formula 1 since 1991, when they failed to score a single point.

Yeah, I’m sure those little vehicles are disproportionately destroying the globe.... /s

I own one of those little f#ckers... Gonna drive low gear just because.

The governments keep raising the bar for pollution and mileage. It is past the point of being unrealistic.

"The two men, ****, Audi ’s chief engineer, and ****, developer of Porsche’s winning Formula One engines"

Ah, disciples of Smokey Yunick's school of creative rule reading. For those of you in Rio Linda that is cheating without getting caught or interpreting then rules as they didn't say I couldn't do that.....

I bet these guys had a Eureka moment in the lab: “There’s no steering data changes when you’re on a dynamometer!”

These guys are geniuses.

The requirement is that WHEN THE EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT IS CONNECTED, the care emits X or less amounts of Y.

That’s what it did.

The two men, Ulrich Hackenberg, Audi ’s chief engineer, and Wolfgang Hatz

Should be named co-recipients of Man of the Year by Car and Driver.

I’ll never take my TDI in to get the fix. I love my car and the 48 mpg I got this weekend - which is great considering diesel was at $2.19 in Alabama.

So where are the slimy business majors that OK’d this? When are they going to be suspended? When are they going to be made the scape goats?

Chances are VW caved too soon, making them look super guilty of the crime of the century. The could’ve flipped the bird and gone on the offensive over the letter of the law and the laughable emissions restriction. Too late now!

Distraction is all this is with requisite accompanying waste of my money. One old heavy use vehicle smoker puts more soot out than all the tingly leg feel good in this here nonsense.

Such a shame. I love my TDI and I’m going to hate having it fixed or selling it back to them..

JUST KIDDING, no emissions testing here, I’ll get it fixed for the $ and get it tuned. I spew out way, way, way less than any of those modded diesel pickup trucks.
