A primer on the Left’s use of the Talking Point Headline using a current news story.
Raw Story [Leftist Propaganda] | 10/2/2015

Armed vet destroys gun nuts’ argument on mass shooters by explaining why he didn’t attack Oregon killer

The headline screams at you - and comrades on the #nationalSocialistLeft dutifully post it for all to see since it supposedly ‘destroys gun nuts’ argument on mass shooters’

But let's examine this ‘news story’ and see how it is structured as an editorial piece than an article meant to inform.
1. First of all note the Talking Point Headline.
This is so our Comrades can easily find the TPH easily on a search engine and post it without having to go through the trouble of actually reading the article. Since our comrades on the #nationalSocialistLeft simply assume they are on the correct side of history and all that folderol, they feel this should be enough to ‘win’ the debate.
2. Here is the critical item that distinguishes a Talking Point Article from normal news articles - instead of actually informing the reader of the important facts - they spend a fair amount of time editorializing to back up the headline:

Saying he does conceal carry in case “I’m in close proximity” to an incident where he might try to save some lives, Parker admitted he’s not the type who believes that “there’s always somebody out there behind your back ready to do something like this.”

3. Included in the editorializing will be unwarranted commentary against Conservatives for good measure:
Conservative commentators — none of whom were caught up in the panic and confusion at the college campus — have complained that the school’s “gun-free” designation drew the shooter there and that a “good guy with a gun” could have stopped him.

4. FINALLY after all the extraneous opinions by the author of the piece, we get to the ‘Crux’ of the matter:
“Luckily we made the choice not to get involved,” he explained. “We were quite a distance away from the building where this was happening. And we could have opened ourselves up to be potential targets ourselves, and not knowing where SWAT was, their response time, they wouldn’t know who we were. And if we had our guns ready to shoot, they could think that we were bad guys.”

In this case the story goes that the subject was ‘quite a distance away from the building where this was happening’ and thus the ‘rest of the story’ is revealed - after 6 paragraphs of commentary.

Of course, had the writer of the piece mentioned that in the fist paragraph, it would have eviscerated the Talking Point Headline.
But now due to leftist deception, they can use this story as a Talking Point from now on.

TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society
KEYWORDS: banglist; communists; oregon; shooting
Please note for future reference how the #nationalSocialistLeft has done this in other cases - the dead giveaway is the Headline itself that pushes Leftist tripe instead of trying to inform the reader.

Bravo!!!

Propaganda 101, Alinsky tactics, FBI files...

Lots to cover up to massage the message by polling and lull them (us) into complacency...

Thank You - I’ve seen that technique used by our Comrades on the #nationalSocialistLeft and I wanted to point it out to people.
