My first degree is in meteorology, Writing that, I was predicting the track would swing east and I have been shaking my head reading the predictions of the end of the World by supposed weathermen and the press. I have been reading about historic rainfall amounts and how everything was going to fall apart.
I am sick and tired of the new breed of weathermen (I refuse to call them meteorologists, as they are not)who play Chicken Little so they can get notoriety and allow themselves to be used by the worthless, uneducated, leftist press.
If a "state of emergency" is issued so casually by government authorities every time the wind blows or the rains falls, what are we going to do in the event of an authentic emergency? We are reaching a point where many people, myself included, pay little heed to anything coming from government.
