Under pressure, Jeb Bush is hitting harder than ever against Sen. Marco Rubio, as Bush’s onetime protégé surpasses him in the polls.

On the trail in New Hampshire Wednesday, Bush compared Rubio’s campaign message to that of President Obama and warned of a similar result if Rubio was elected. Pressed on his comments today in an interview with MSNBC, Bush went further.

Bush said Rubio lacked the “leadership skills” and said that Rubio would not be able to “fix things” in Washington.

Jeb: “Yes sir.”

¡Yeb! does not have any intention of fixing anything in Washington. He would make things worse by inviting more illegal aliens in.

Once upon a time on an Ash Wednesday in New Orleans, I watched two dirty winos in a wet and mucky gutter fighting over a broken strand of plastic beads. They both lost. I don’t know why this just came to mind.

It’s actually a better strategy than engaging Trump. They’re still assuming Trump will self-immolate at some point, or that eventually the media will come to their rescue. My odds are 70% he won’t and 30% he does self-immolate.

Bush’s hardcore supporters will never go for Trump, but they may flee if they see Bush’s ship sinking.

Trumps appeal? He talks like a teamster after a long hard day of work, sitting at a bar and having a Budweiser long neck.

Jeb is in essentially tied in second place in Florida with Rubio but Trump leads. I suspect he believes that if he knocks out Rubio, he will take Rubio’s supporters at least in Florida, and maybe have a shot at winning Florida. Makes sense but I do not like Jeb Bush. Personally, if the choice was between those two only, I would take Rubio. And the reason is Terry Schiavo. How could anyone call himself a man and allow that poor woman to be so cruelly murdered, in addition to the cruelty shown to her family. Bush is a flawed weak man because of this, and whatever greatness he might have had is gone; this act, or rather failure to act, made him and his president brother, equally failed in preventing this, equally culpable, weak of spirit and of soul. The Bush family is forever stained by this, and whatever good they may have done, whatever greatness they may have achieved, is forever overshadowed by this. Remember this, the Bush name is accursed, do not support this man, do not bring any more sorrow upon our country by choosing a Bush to rule over you. Let their blood-stained line fade into obscurity as should the Clintons. Let Obama go back to whatever third world hellhole he came from, and live the worthless useless obscure drug-clouded dishonest dysfunctional life he was meant to live, and let the fools who raised him up do the same.

This isn’t a surprise... Jeb can’t afford to lose Florida.

Jeb’s problem is that his donors and supporters are switching to Rubio.

Attacking Trump doesn’t benefit Jeb. Trump’s supporters will go to Carson and Cruz before they go to Jeb.
