They’re not state media, though. They’re commercial, with advertisers. It’s odd to think of it, but the only network that conservatives have gone after to remind them of that lately is Fox News.

Protesting at the media outlets would be effective, I believe. Resistance is maybe all the action that can be done, but it will accomplish something. And one someone resists, they’re at least not cooperating. The media’s lies and the stranglehold they have right now over our common knowledge make it that much harder for people to hear the truth of the Gospel. Speaking out might not break their stranglehold, but some people who hear are bound to respond.

I posted a couple of threads about contacting the media over the period of a few days (yesterday, today, and tomorrow) in protest of their biased coverage. Something in particular that they may feel more vulnerable about is their rushing to judgment, especially when following a viral "socia media" story. In such cases, like the Ahmed Mohamed hoax bomb case, and the Trayvon Martin case, the media immediately form a conclusion, taking whatever side fits their narrative, and then distorting the facts that emerge, rather than waiting on the facts to emerge to form their conclusion.

Here are some of the advertisers of the network nightly news broadcasts:

Thurs. 10/1/15

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
