And what is going to change by Dec. 11th?
The GOP sure as heck is not going to risk a Christmas shutdown, so what is the point?
Once again, the budget is passed, not by Republicans, but by Democrats with Republican support.
Everyone gets to go home and say “I fought against Planned Parenthood” when they all had counted the votes ahead of time, and think they can fool the bitter clingers back home again.
Things will not change until we have a new political party.
The GOP has to go the way of the Whigs.
They are completely compromised, useless and treacherous.
At least by Dec 11 John Bonehead will be gone as hopefully will Kevin McCranky and Mitch HicConnell.
And yet we were screamed at by Freepers to elect Bhoner and Mitch and their ilk because feet would be held to the fire.
The feet that SHOULD be held to the fire are those that did that.
“Everyone gets to go home and say I fought against Planned Parenthood when they all had counted the votes ahead of time, and think they can fool the bitter clingers back home again.”

Early on in his great speech form a few days ago, Cruz talks about the three types of votes.
Number 1 was show votes. They don’t do anything, but the congressman can go back home and say “Hey - I voted against it, but jeez, we just didn’t have the votes.”
2) Votes to increase gov’t spending and get pork to everyone’s pet project. Those all get yes votes.
3) Must pass votes. And all obama has to do is threaten to veto the bill and shut down the government. So anything that furthers obama’s agenda is a “must pass” bill. And the Rinos vote for it.
The GOP sure as heck is not going to risk a Christmas shutdown, so what is the point?
Gotta keep the LIVs happy and keep the Congess Critters in a job acting like they are really fighting for the Citizens.
Ted Cruz breaks it down the best in his speech on Sept. 28th.
