Putin had a direct meeting with Net a few days ago. I believe it went well.
Putin had a direct meeting with Obama a couple days ago. Ever since, Obama has looked like the "sissy" that got beat up in the parking lot.

No one is mentioning the animosity between the Russians and the Turks. They have long memories and Putin may want to revenge what happened in Sevastapol back in the day (Crimean War). Suddenly the Turks are getting squeezed.
