How is this different from denying employees the right to vote? The right to assemble peacefully? What parts of the constitution can be deleted as a condition of employment at a government agency?
Exactly. Consider that 15 million illegal aliens do what they please. Why should U.S. Citizens submit to tyranny?
Hear, hear.
Is this legal? That’s a dangerous job and they have a second amendment right to possess a weapon. I hope nothing happens to this DA who has mistaken herself for a queen.
It’s great having a DA Queen who violates the constitutional rights of her own employees. Imagine what she does to citizens.
Exactly.
“Free Men dont ask permission to defend themselves.”
Great post!
Wait a while, you will, when they finish Californicating Arizona!
” Californicating Arizona! “
Has been happening for some time, but there are certain lines that don’t get crossed here. Even the hard left gave up on guns here, because almost half the liberals own 1 or more guns : )People walk around supermarkets with holstered guns here all day long.
Nothing like your boss painting a literal target on your back for every scumbag you put in prison...
It’s interesting to discover the DA knows anybody in that department is too stupid to own a firearm. I hope he also forbids them owning a motor vehicle as well, since more people die from cars than guns.
Because U.S. citizens will be prosecuted and thrown into jail and/or fined without fail. In general, their decent lives and reputations would be ruined as they would be made felons.
Illegal aliens, of course, get released on their own recognizance with the promise they will show up for their deportation hearings in ten years or so. But of they don't show up, that's OK. That would be "discrimination" if they had to follow the law.
That's why.
One Sheepdog to another, brother.
WOOF!
It is “who” is doing the denying that is the issue. Our Constitutional rights protect us from the giverment. Hence the Bill of Rights typically states that “Congress shall...”. The 1st Amendment keeps the government from restricting your speech. It doesn’t (or shouldn’t) apply to private contracts or private property.
In this case the government is the employer so restricting constitutional rights is probably unconstitutional but the job is politcal patronage so they serve t the will of the DA. The DA can fire them for any reason or no reason at all.
I’ve never had more than a speeding ticket, but frankly, I don’t care anymore.
Ditto.
