Slavery has never ended in the muslim world and is, in fact, legally permitted by Islam.
Western Civilization outlawed slavery. The rest of the world did not.
The decadent and delusional (viz. the Left) find nothing in Western Civilization worth believing or preserving. The abolition of slavery is not the only triumph that these morons can't comprehend.
If they were content to go down that well known, well traveled Road to Hell by themselves, there wouldn't be much of a problem, but they are determined to drag the rest of us along with them.
