A Confederate battle flag attached to a high school sophomores backpack reportedly led to a school lockdown in Polk County, Georgia.
Officials at Rockmart High School say the flag caused a disruption when the 10th-grader, who is white, was confronted Wednesday morning by two black students prior to school starting, a local Fox News affiliate reported.

Insane.
Oh and I'd love to see Clockmed try to get past TSA with his 'invention'....
I like that idea! Good for you!
Lynch briefly toured the center, admiring the foosball table and the art and recording studios. She also paused at a poster depicting the history of the Black Panther movement.
I like your Panther poster, said Lynch, a statement that has passed the lips of few, if any, U.S. attorneys general.

“Invitation to the White House coming up?”
Of course not - it was a confederate flag so the kid is lucky he’s not in jail, prounounced guilty by Obama and headed to prison for 40 years. :o)
He invented a Confederate flag! No, wait, he invented a backpack!
The locals should hold a special meeting and can the people responsible for this.
Who the hell are they to say that flag means something it doesn’t mean to those who own it?
Honest to God, these school administrators have a screw loose.
Mr. Cupp missed a teaching opportunity here. The Washington times posted this letter a while back.
This country owes as much of its enviable martial heritage to the South as the North. But now to serve popular morality, we must banish from history the Confederate battle flag and those who served under it. Responding to these assertions, I quote Joshua Chamberlain who received the Confederate surrender at Appomattox.
Before us in proud humiliation stood the embodiment of manhood: men whom neither toils and sufferings, nor the fact of death, nor disaster, nor hopelessness could bend from their resolve; standing before us now, thin, worn, and famished, but erect, and with eyes looking level into ours, waking memories that bound us together as no other bond;was not such manhood to be welcomed back into a Union so tested and assured?
Winston Churchill commented concerning American entry into WW II that victory was then assured, because our Civil War demonstrated the tenacity required to defeat the Nazis.
At least half the student body should bring Confederate flags and not give them up.
Gynology....
Rule by pussies.
In GA???
"Confrontation Wednesday morning by two black students leads to school lockdown"
There, fixed it.
“Who the hell are they to say that flag means something it doesnt mean to those who own it?”...
Kind of like saying, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.
The powers to be see what they want to see while you and I see something entirely different.
This issue has been blown way out of proportion and the idiots who keep pushing it are to blame. Next thing we know, the entire south will be dug up, moved or turned upside down. Dumb asses, the whole lot.
Glossed over was the threatening and intimidating of a white student by black youths.
YET AGAIN.
But the flag is the problem, not a demographic that, while already prone to violence, has been given free rein to attack white people.
This flag dispute is silly. There’s no real reason why it should be denigrated the way it is.
I have never held it in high regard, but now that it is being denigrated, I view it differently.
I wish every person in the South would buy one and fly it every day. Just cram this effort down the throats of those who are championing it.
It’s time to stand up to the P. C. B. S.
Should have put in an alarm clock that plays Dixie when activated.
I had to tone down that response. It definitely went over the top in the first draft.
