I hope all of the students bring Confederate flags.

The sad thing is a local high school has decided to to go PC and do away with their rebel mascot and fight song.
I watched a movie MEN OF THE FIGHTING LADY the other night. One of the Jet jockys (Keenan Wynn) had a helmet with the (GASP) REBEL FLAG on it.
Better get a copy now before the movie is chopped up and banned.

The article does not live up to the inflammatory title and first line. All 3 were punished for disruption. The suspension had nothing to do with the Confederate Flag.
The lockdown came later in the day. Per the article the lockdown drill was i response to the rumors which kept floating around and this was the best way to get a lid on it.

Think about that - the mere thought of a Confederate Flag led to a lockdown....and “lockdown” sounds like a term used in prison anyway.
Do you think rumors of a rainbow flag, Soviet flag, or even a Mexican flag would have resulted in a lockdown? I doubt it. But apparently a Confederate flag now poses a security risk. Something is backwards about that.
I think if this incident had been sparked by any of the flags you mentioned
this principal would have had a lockdown drill if there was a possibilty the rumors might ignite the not so nice passions of high school students.
The lockdown drill was to calm everyone down.
But a Muslim with what very well could have been a bomb gets an invitation to the WH.
