The big difference between Boehner and Gingrich is that Newt had a specific agenda he wanted to accomplish as Speaker while Boehner only wanted to be Speaker. The classic differrence between a person who wants to do something and another who wants to be someone. They both worked hard for their goal and lost focus when they accomplished it. In the final analysis, I think it is clear that the country was better off for having the service of Gingrich than Boehner.
