I don't. In fact, I consider it a negative point. Huge chunks of our unconstitutional 'government' need to be burnt to the ground: abolish the programs, fire the civil servants, and raze the buildings. "Government experience" is antithetical to that.

I’m no longer frustrated with the GOP because I acknowledge that it’s also a big government, progressive institution and we’ve parted ways.
Participate in the primaries, Kurt, and if Republicans nominate a candidate you can support, vote for him/her. If not, move on and do with your vote as you please. The GOP doesn’t own it and certainly hasn’t earned it.

That said, I am 100% with you on Cruz! I have two friends that over months I sold on him and they are going to meet him at an event tomorrow night in Austin. I already have.
The perfect ticket to me is Trump/Cruz. And, as a self employed real estate developer of 40+ years (not on the billion dollar level), I can tell you that Trump knows more about our BIGGEST problem (debt) than Cruz could ever know in the next 40 years. There are a million ways to handle DEBT and Trump is THE GURU of that! He knows em all!

I was ok with Carly until she made the statement that a muslim should be allowed to be president. I was done with her after that. The field of possible republican winners keeps getting slimmer.
