Another Monday, and Germany is in turmoil, Boehner is quitting and the “pope” is (finally) leaving!
Glad to see the backs of both Boehner and that Pope!
I’m very concerned about the situation in Europe. I don’t think it will end well. I know I should have visited Europe 10 years or so ago, when it was still Europe.
Good morning!
Dittos on Boehner. the Pope and now if McConnel would go!
Saw on the Rose thread about all the health problems everyone is having. What’s going on. something in the Western PA air?
We’re having issues too. I worked on the Durango, just maintenance, but somehow pulled some muscles. Mrs p6 is at the age where the changes in weather are starting to hit hard. Yesterday we had to take oldes son to the ER because he and his family were at the eye doctor for new glasses and he...broke/bruised his tailbone.
Sat hard on a metal chair arm, LOL! Docs think it’s just bruised but don’t want to take chances.
Meanwhile Trump was just on CBS and sounded pretty good on his tax plan. Not great but OK. Fell down on Obamacare saying it will be repealed and replaced but EVERYONE will be insured. Who pays? The government. Stopped short of single payer and danced around saying it will be paid by savings from other programs.
Hmmm... I like him but am still not on board.
Sneaks, how did the Children’s Hospital trip turn out? Is everything going OK?
Lot’s of sirens right now. <rs p6 ;eft a few minutes ago. I better check things out. I was working on the truck. Hope I got the wheel lugs tight!
Morning! Yeah, looks like I won’t be visiting any foreign country any time soon. I don’t like to fly anyway!
What the heck is going on with everyone sick/injured?? They said bad things would happen in September! So here’s my list:
1.Uncle is in the hospital recovering from a collapsed lung.
2.Sister is in the hospital with pneumonia and an ear infection - and our FRiend, Greg B, was in the same hospital just a few rooms down, with a bleeding ulcer.
3. After our trip to Children’s on Thursday, our car wouldn’t start. Mr S finally got it started and it’s in the shop.
4. Surgery on son’s feet went well, but dr says one foot may require additional surgery. Long story short; son and dil may end up taking him to the world’s expert in the Ponsetti method of club foot repair - in St Louis Mo. The Dr wants to see both kids as granddaughter is not walking yet (18mos) because of problems with right foot. Son used up all his vacation time and I will probably be going to St Louis with DIL.
5. Mr S is off today - fatigued, chills and aches.
Other than those things, everything is JUST SWELL around here!
Oh, no! It sounds like a bad month all round.
Prayers up that everything turns around.
Oh, and tell Mrs p6 I know EXACTLY how she feels! Although, a couple months ago, I started taking Vitamin D3 - 5000 iu’s every day. I’ve noticed that my knees don’t hurt with the weather changes. Maybe just a coinky-dink?
Thanks! Yeah, I am hoping October is better! LOL! It’s all in God’s hands.
