No more pacifism there. Sorry Ben, fight the idiots or leave the race.
Why should he let himself be badgered?
Yeah, welcome to Trump’s world.
Moslems are very bad folks. They want to cut your throat. It is demanded of them 47 times in their little manual. Deport them all NOW!!
You should be one of Ben’s handlers. Carson should have gone for the jugular ala Trump. Damn idiots those staffers of his. After Carson made those comments, the donations rolled in like a Vegas jackpot and they still didn;t get a clue?
Why should he let himself be badgered?>>>>>>>>
He is creating a pacifist record when we need fire in the belly. Why end an interview that Ben should conquer himself. If he is not capable of that how in hell can he be POTUS and face a world full of Putins, Kim Jong Ils and Ayatollahs?
Sorry to say but Ben is in WAY over his head.
Not big deal.
Many times, a handler off camera will signal when an interview ends, because that person is sort of a timekeeper. Perhaps Carson had another interview or meeting and the time allocated to Tapper’s interview was fulfilled.
Carson does need to pick up the pace. He mumbles and rambles and cannot seem to give a direct answer.
Interesting since Salon and the like constantly posts articles like this:
...Anyway, God, God, God. The (nonexistent) Almighty and the candidates fealty to Him and one of the three variants of His magic book never exit our electoral stage for long. Yet reporters, as a rule, tend to avoid religion in interviews, or simply accept declarations of piety with equanimity and move on.
This is wrong. Religions are nothing but sets of ideas, and as such should be susceptible to discussion, criticism and even ridicule and satire. All the more so since candidates (both Republican and Democrat) often drag their faith into the public arena and boast about it, pander to religious blocs (and especially the evangelicals) for votes and cash, confer with religious leaders and (mostly where Republicans are concerned) base policy on precepts originating in religious texts (think reproductive rights, opposition to same-sex marriage, and right-to-die legislation).
In view of this, journalists should have long ago declared open season on religion. Interviewers should be hounding faith-flaunting candidates with hard-hitting questions, as they would on any other subject of import. They should disregard faith-based assertions and demand justification on evidentiary grounds. Politicians should be made uncomfortable for ignoring the worldview and concerns of rationalists.
Sample questions to be put to pietistic contenders for the White House: What makes you believe in God? Do you hear voices? See visions? Do you believe God answers your prayers? If so, please provide objective evidence. Why is, say, the Bible or the Torah better than the Quran? Does not the eternal hellfire the supposedly merciful Jesus promised sinners epitomize Constitutionally prohibited cruel and unusual punishment? If you consider the Bible a reliable guide for your personal life, may I ask if would you slaughter your child on Gods command (as Abraham was prepared to do)? Would you stone your daughter to death for not being a virgin on her wedding night? If not, why not? What scriptural authority can you cite for following your Holy Book in some cases, but not in others?
And what about Balaams jabbering donkey? Please explain how 21st century humans are to take such a tale seriously.
Finally, what are you planning to do to win over the most rapidly increasing segment of the population, the religiously unaffiliated?
“Make them shut up about God: The right-wings religious delusions are killing us and them”
I agree, he doesn’t have the fire in the belly.
On the other hand Carson has repeatedly explained his comments regard a moslem for president. Tapper is being a pest. His aim is to antagonize.
And speaking of head, it reminds me of Herman Cain and his "got all this stuff twirling around in my head" stumble in 2011.
Carson 2015 = Cain 2011
Are they sure it was Carson’s staffer who stopped the interview and not Jake’s producer?
Trump will squash him like a mosquito. Carson has no clue about leading this country. We need and will get a strong leader, not a whispering pacifist. Go TRUMP!!
“Yeah, welcome to Trumps world”.
Yes welcome to Trump’s world. Would have loved to saw Carson reached over and bitch slap this SOB upside the head, then say “this interview is over”.
Carson should crush Tapper like an ant.He could you know, but he has a problem,he has the intellect but not the hutzpah. This is not a game any longer, we are now only 13 months away from
the election. If Ben can’t evicerate an enemy like Tapper live, then his game is over. He would face far worse than Tapper if elected, he is not the man for the job in these times we now face.
The Would BE Candidate from NYC...is.. I grant.. a big talker.
Being a Big Talker does not necessarily mean that he’s a leader however.
I agree, but on the other hand, Dr. Carson could carve one of Tappers kidneys out and sell it on eBay before he even knew what hit him
It was confirmed by Breitbart. It was a short article so a short excerpt. Click on the link.
Why does Carson have to put up with a worthless interviewer? They either learn to leave their politics at the door or they shouldn’t expect candidates to put up with it.
I just wish Carson wasn’t a wimp on illegal immigration.
