He’s supposed to stick to Religion, not politics.

This is a peasant Pope from a peasant place who thinks everyone should live like peasants.
The simple problem is that if we all do what THIS Pope wanted then the world would be all starving. Capitalism is the pursuit of prosperity usually for ones family.
There is no prosperity in other ways.

If you want to look at Europe with it’s 100+ year mortgages, 300% tax on all goods sold and tens of thousands dying each year from a lack of heating or air conditioning as our goal then the Pope can go jump in front of oncoming traffic for all I care.

This Pope is such a fool outside of Religion that he doesn’t think the sun and planet are making the weather, he believes that man causes changes. This is insanity like when past generations believed the Sun revolved around the Earth.

Easy for the Pope to say let everyone in. I think if we do that it is into a camp with tents to real soon send them BACK.
Pope doesn’t like our border wall concepts, but the Pope lives behind one of the grandest secured walls I’ve ever seen. When I’ve been to the Vatican there is air conditioning to preserve the art, there is immense security and I hear it has the strictest immigration laws in the world.
I think we need to adapt the Vatican’s walls and immigration policies, not adapt its current Pope’s dreams of misery and poverty for all.

You know, if you knock down a few pegs a country and society like America you gain nothing. What you do is lose a world resource for helping others. Capitalism creates wealth for those who work hard and more wealth for those who work hard at the right things.
The byproduct of Capitalism often is great charity. American takes in more immigrants than the whole rest of the world.
America give more in charity than any other country.

How Pope F do we give if we listen to you and have a lot less of everything?
The Pope needs to attend a business school. You teach someone to do better by imitating success, not by tearing down the successful and taking away all motivation and wealth.
Stupid is as stupid does.

Actually, according to the canons of Vatican I, the Pope has temporal power also, so he can talk about politics if he wants to.

I won't address all your points, but will say this man, I repeat man was elected by other men to be the voice of God.

We can debate Biblical scripture, religious beliefs, creation vs evolution, etc. Someone please explain to me why this Cardinal got the votes to become a supposed direct line to God. Church politics? Personal feelings? Age? Next in line?

Also, please explain why Popes are so popular? Is it the need for so many to believe that a human being can be connected to a supreme being? I really don't get it. Watching this spectacle I'm thinking I'm observing an orchestrated reality show. If we wants to preach the wonderful teachings of Jesus Christ, I'm all for it. But no, for some reason he wants to be PC and lecture us on his own beliefs. Oops, that would be God's beliefs as transmitted to this elected man.

The Pope eats, pees, poops like any other human being. Why do millions think he is devine once the white smoke comes out? To me, it is cognitive dissonance. I'll say again, no wonder the Protestant movement came about.

Hey Pope Francis, while you're talking down to us, what do you have to say about all your priests who molest young boys? Pfft.
