Twitter is wonderful when you use it for events or searching something. Anyone can send. When something goes on in your neighborhood or the world, someone will be in the eye of it reporting. Or you can.
And Twitter is a way to bypass the gates around celebrity, from either side. The gates around politicians.
I would never sit and “read my feed,” what a massive waste of time, but I go to Twitter for big events or shows or anything where I want comments from the real people. I remember when Twitter started. I just didn’t get it. But the impact is unique so far.
As long as people make relevant tweets, and there are millions of them, twitter search is the most powerful tool in the world to find out what’s going on.
