Rubio stabbed the TEA party in the back. They supported him and he joined the McCain wing as soon as he got there.

...by the way, you do know that Trump was a Charlie Crist supporter in 2010. How’d that judgment work out in light of subsequent events?

“Rubio stabbed the TEA party in the back”

You got that right. It was not 2 weeks after Rubio got elected that I heard him in an interview saying he didn’t know if he was really a tea partier or not.

Fair enough. Conservatives and Tea Party types put him in office and the next thing we know he’s sidled up to McCain, Schumer and Graham on immigration, suckered into being their poster boy for amnesty. He’s repented and told us why, and you can choose to believe him on that or not. But I’m not sure how people can hold those types of things against Rubio and then ignore Trump’s past on abortion, gun rights, drugs, etc?

HE SURE AS HELL DID. He’s young, I’m willing to forgive him, starting in 2028, providing he acts like a CONSERVATIVE between now and then. He can run for the top job then.

Until then, there is NO WAY IN HELL that I will EVER trust him, nor should any other American.
