Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Wednesday rejected what he called German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s “moral imperialism” as he outlined his own rival plan to tackle Europe’s migrant crisis.
When asked what he expected from Merkel while Europe grapples with an influx of asylum-seekers, the hardline leader grinned: “I have a long list.”
Orban accused Merkel of trying to impose her vision of an open EU on the rest of the bloc. “The most important thing is that there should be no moral imperialism,” he said during a visit to the southern German state of Bavaria. […]

Open borders is an impossibility unless there is a universally accepted immigration policy and universal social welfare policy.
Without both immigrants seeking generous welfare enter at the state with the weakest immigration policy and migrate to the state with the most generous welfare system.
And they were put there primarily by German soldiers! Hungarians that tried to feed, aid or even associate with Jews were threatened with the same treatment as the Jews. I know as little girls my Mother and her sister were told by German soldiers that if they continued to take milk to the children of a Jewish family and play with them they would be shot.

The Jews were a key part of the Hungarian social and economic fabric.
The Muslims are not.
One group was castigated and shot.
Another group was welcomed in with open arms.

Several pundits of the German right have written recently that Merkel is the worst chancellor since Adolf Hitler.
I didn’t know this. My ancestor left Hungary for England in the 1800’s and I have found a few with the same last name among a list of those who died in Auschwitz. I’m not sure what prompted him to leave before the whole Nazi fervor came about but I’m glad he did!
Whenever anybody says something like this, they reveal themselves to be not serious.
Some of the refugees are fleeing war in Syria, but the vast majority of the refugees are looking to improve their lives by leaving backward nations and moving to the economically advanced West.
And that is leaving aside the goodies available from the European Welfare State.
And, BTW, having a bunch of Germans lecturing anybody about their racist, anti-semetic, and facist past is a little too rich for my blood.
And many of these so-called refugees are emigrating just to wage jihad.
