Much has been written about the similarities between populist demagogue Donald Trump and populist demagogue Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.). Now, a Free Beacon SuperCut reveals striking similarities between Trump and fellow progressive Barack Obama.
Before it became politically expedient for Trump to become pro-life, he held pro-choice views identical to those of Obama. Their support for late-term and partial-birth abortion (where the baby is partially delivered in the breech position, then killed by piercing the skull and suctioning out the brains) put them well outside the mainstream of American public opinion.
But the similarities don’t end there. As this SuperCut reveals, Trump has at various times called for a national health care system, a retreat from Iraq and the world, tax hikes on the rich, and lavish infrastructure spending—precisely the proposals put forward by President Obama.

BARACK OBAMA: Those who have done well—including me…
DONALD TRUMP: I’m really rich.
SINGLE-PAYER
OBAMA: Single-payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. That’s what I’d like to see.
TRUMP: As far as single-payer, it works in Canada, it works incredibly well in Scotland.
LATE-TERM ABORTION
OBAMA: I am pro-choice.
REPORTER: In all situations, including the late-term thing?
OBAMA: I am pro-choice.
TRUMP: I am pro-choice in every respect and as far as it goes.
ABANDONING IRAQ
OBAMA: We have to turn the page on this disaster in Iraq and restore our standing in the world.
TRUMP: The war is a total disaster. Perhaps even worse, the rest of the world hates us.
OBAMA: It is time to put an end to this war.
TRUMP: Declare victory and leave.
AMERICA’S ROLE
OBAMA: America is not the world’s policeman.
TRUMP: We’re going to have to stop being the policeman of the world.
TAX HIKES
OBAMA: You’ve got to pay your fair share. You’ve got to pony up some.
TRUMP: Some people, they’re not doing their fair share. The hedge fund guys have to pay up.
CRUMBLING ROADS, ETC.
OBAMA: We have to upgrade America’s crumbling infrastructure, its roads and bridges.
TRUMP: Our roads are crumbling. Our airports are third world.
MAKIN’ AMERICA GREAT
TRUMP: We’re going to make America great again.
OBAMA: That’s how we make America great!

“Make America Great Again” is just a slogan like “Hope and Change”. And he trashes his fellow Republicans every day.
Where in his history has he shown respect for the Constitution and individual freedoms? The Kelo decision?
The “birther” issue made him look ridiculous. Even born in Kenya would make Obama as American as Ted Cruz. What’s his appeal besides the “kick em all out now” rhetoric on illegal aliens?
Sounds like he’d be an Imperial “my way or the highway” Big Government executive on the order of Obumma. Not my choice.

I’m not sure...let me get to ya on that....My stepson is a Marine that did two combat tours in Iraq...One mission in Afghanistan .He said from the beginning it is a waste of time....so many homos over there holding hands, he could wait to get out.
We won tens of thousands of wounded veterans who are now reliant on a substandard VA, thousands of dead, and trillions in looted American tax treasure. We had no war plan, other than a compassionate war, no exit strategy, nothing zip. And half the country full well this was going to happen.
Just a point or two:
#1.I vaguely remember someone declaring war on us quite a while ago.
We ignored them until they successfully attacked us and now with your help we will continue to ignore them until the next attack.
#2.I hope you all voted for Obama because he “ended” the war that you didn’t like.
#3And I hope you are ready for the next war (brought to by the guy who wanted to end the old war) because its gonna be a doozie..... and yea I don’t think anyone is gonna like that war either
We fought the wrong war—Iraw, rather than Iran. Doing nothing in Iraq would have been better than what we did.

For starters, how about starting wars in countries which never once threatened the U.S. How about decades of the corrupt Bush dynasty publicly aiding and abetting an epic invasion of tens of millions DURING WAR TIME? Or was Bush simply an innocent helpless by-stander like Perry from Texas?
