Occasionally a talking head nails it and you think, yeah, he’s right. The author of the article linked below animalizes why Trump and Fiorina are beating the established candidates. People have figured out that it doesn’t matter what a politician says. What matters is who they are and that they show us who that is. We’re tired of politicians triangulating, as Bill did, or saying one thing and doing another, as I expect Biden is doing here. People don’t care that Trump doesn’t know the difference between Hamas and Hezbollah. It’s okay to say he’ll hire somebody who does. (Disclaimer. I’m not thrilled with Trump or Fiorina. But I think the author is correct on what their appeal is.)
