Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA) gave his own Republican congressional leadership a failing grade for not going “all in” to solve the nation’s fiscal problems and for not fighting President Obama’s executive overreach.
“I’d give them all F’s. Fail. We did not fight. We didn’t win. My district sent me up here to score some points,” Brat said Friday after C-SPAN Washington Journal host Peter Slen asked the Tea Party-backed freshman congressman what he thought about House Speaker John Boehner’s leadership over the past year.
Brat noted the Republican-controlled Congress’ failure to defund Planned Parenthood in the wake of graphic undercover videos released by the Centers for Medical Progress showing the harvesting of fetal organs by the nation’s largest abortion provider as just one example of the GOP leadership’s failure to make an impact. …

If Boehner uses Demo support to stay in his position, the House should be shut down with phone calls and faxes until he resigns.

For years GOPers have been telling me “we have to win!” When I’ve asked them “win what?” they’ve have had no answer whatsoever.
Well if we can get Trump elected he will whip those quislings into action. He knows how to deal with losers.
Brat and Jim Jordan are about the only two real conservatives I can name in the House. Anyone have other suggestions?
Even if the GOP didn’t win on everything, at least they should fight and make Dems go on record. Like with the Iran deal, yes Obama would veto, but then the Dems would be required to go on record in support of the veto or in support of the bill. But by not even passing the bill and letting the Dems use procedural methods is BS. Same with Planned Parenthood funding. But, the Repubs are weak, have no backbone and aren’t conservative. They are afraid of not being liked by the media, which is another story all together.
I don't remember who said "Culture is upstream from politics," but it's so true. You win political battles tomorrow because of the cultural battles you fight today.

Some politicians don't grok that, including McConnell, who will schedule no vote unless support exists to override a veto.
