Boosted by nuke deal, Iran ups funding to Hezbollah, Hamas Operating on assumption sanctions will be lifted,

Tehran increases support to proxies,

Avi Issacharoff September 21, 2015

On Sunday, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano, arrived in Iran for talks on the nuclear agreement, as part of what appears to be an attempt by the UN nuclear watchdog to evaluate whether Iran ran a military nuclear program in the past.

Amano is expected to meet with various Iranian nuclear scientists for answers on this very subject. On December 15, ahead of the lifting of crippling economic sanctions on Tehran, he is slated to present the world with definitive answers that will determine whether Iran complied with the terms of a nuclear deal signed on July 15. But the Islamic Republic is not waiting for a green light from Amano or the international community, and is working under the assumption that the sanctions will be lifted.

Since the deal was signed, Iran has significantly increased its financial support for two of the largest terror groups in the region that have become political players, Hamas and Hezbollah. In the years before the deal was signed, the crippling sanctions limited this support, which had significantly diminished along with Iran’s economy. But Tehran’s belief that tens, or hundreds, of billions of dollars will flow into the country in the coming years as a result of sanctions relief has led to a decision to boost the cash flow to these terror organizations.

This support, for example, has enabled Hezbollah to obtain highly developed new armaments, including advanced technologies that many militaries around the world would envy.

I remember when all those lefties accused anyone who bought an SUV of funding terrorism because they were buying their gas.

Somewhere the comparison should be made.

Iran Uses Nuclear Deal Windfall to Strengthen Hamas and Hezbollah

Iran is already spending the enormous cash windfall Barack Obama is giving them on a heavy investment in terrorism, according to a report in the Times of Israel.

“Since the deal was signed, Iran has significantly increased its financial support for two of the largest terror groups in the region that have become political players, Hamas and Hezbollah,” writes the Times of Israel. “In the years before the deal was signed, the crippling sanctions limited this support, which had significantly diminished along with Iran’s economy. But Tehran’s belief that tens, or hundreds, of billions of dollars will flow into the country in the coming years as a result of sanctions relief has led to a decision to boost the cash flow to these terror organizations.”

Iran’s financial support has enabled Hezbollah to purchase “highly developed new armaments, including advanced technologies that many militaries around the world would envy.” A Kuwaiti paper cited by the Times of Israel reported that every advanced weapon Russia is bringing into Syria is finding its way into the hands of Hezbollah operatives, who have been fighting against al-Qaeda and ISIS on behalf of the Assad regime. Much of this hardware was previously considered too expensive for Hezbollah.

Using America against America, it’s brilliantly demonic, or demonically brilliant. Either way it’s evil IMO.

Obama Gives $12 Billion In Taxpayer Money To Iran
02 February, 2015

Free Beacon reports:

The Obama administration on Wednesday paid $490 million in cash assets to Iran and will have released a total of $11.9 billion to the Islamic Republic by the time nuclear talks are scheduled to end in June, according to figures provided by the State Department.

Today’s $490 million release, the third such payment of this amount since Dec. 10, was agreed to by the Obama administration under the parameters of another extension in negotiations over Tehran’s contested nuclear program that was inked in November.

Iran will receive a total of $4.9 billion in unfrozen cash assets via 10 separate payments by the United States through June 22, when talks with Iran are scheduled to end with a final agreement aimed at curbing the country’s nuclear work, according to a State Department official.

Iran received $4.2 billion in similar payments under the 2013 interim agreement with the United States and was then given another $2.8 billion by the Obama administration last year in a bid to keep Iran committed to the talks through November, when negotiators parted ways without reaching an agreement.

Iran will have received a total of $11.9 billion in cash assets by the end of June if current releases continue on pace as scheduled.

Weren’t people sent to jail for funding Hamas and Hezbollah? CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator?

How is this different?

Same result. More money for terrorism.
