Donald Trump literally asked for it and social media responded.
Monday morning, the GOP frontrunner tweeted the hashtag #AskTrump for a Q&A he would be holding later in the day at Twitter's New York office.
And now the people responded. While there were some legitimate questions about Trump and his campaign to be the next president, a lion's share of the tweets with #AskTrump were insulting, and, in some cases, downright brutal.
A few hours after it was tweeted by Trump, the hashtag was the No. 1 trend worldwide.

Trump wins again.
Apparently the Hollywood Reporter doesn’t understand that a “response” is not a question.

Trump is great at exposing how petty and shallow liberals are
+1
Found none of the phony questions to be brutal and most were poor attempts to try to ascend the ladder of humor.
Big deal.
Would you agree to be on Ted Cruz’s Cabinet if he WINS?..
Or some other high level post?..
Think Obama would entertain doing this?
Not bloody well likely. Which is the point.
There are a handful of people who wait for Trump to post anything and reply with the same crap every time. The serious questions are towards the bottom. It’s the same with all Republican candidates. Trolls are trolls; like cockroaches, they’re impossible to eradicate.
No way is Trump doing all his tweets. He has his top lieutenants helping too. Maybe a few gag writers. Bring in Jackie Mason!!!
Ask RUSH about finding out WHERE all the bad ones are coming FROM !
[ some lowlife in mommy’s basement ]
Funny thing is, that bad news is still publicity...
The one thing that Mr Trump has displayed is a consistent and persistent ability to play the game of payback. All of these twitter whatevers are going into that steel vault ready to be retrieved at a nanosecond when the conditions are favorable.

Go read through them.
Maybe Jackie will be his Press Secy????
In a word?
BOOM!
The bad ones won’t get in, just the good ones.
Number 1 hashtag worldwide.
Let me put that in perspective for those who don’t understand social media.
There are over 180,000,000 Twitter users each month. A large percent use Twitter everyday. But let’s say that each user only goes onto Twitter once a month, that would be over 6,000,000 users per day. At a bare minimum.
Now the top hashtags are listed on the main twitter page, which means that 6,000,000 people saw that #AskTrump was the number one tag.
That alone is a huge amount of advertising!
That would be like getting a free ad on a prime-time network show!
The man is a marketing genius.
