Sad story all around. Lattin may be troubled emotionally and financially and that is all in addition to his disability. That should not be an excuse, but an example of hardships faced by many vets and Americans in difficult times.

I didn’t give Tawana Brawley or Crystal Mangum or any of the hoaxers a pass for their shenanigans, and I won’t give this guy one, especially under the very hair-trigger racial conditions existing in this country right now, thanks to Hussein. Too many of these hoaxers accuse actual innocent people, who then have their lives turned upsidedown, if not shattered, by these false accusations.

He was arrested for filing a false police report, a/k/a the reported incident was did by him or one of his associates and falsely attributed to someone else. More charges may be pending.
