Neurosurgeon Ben Carson should withdraw from the presidential race for his comments that a Muslim shouldn't be president a prominent Muslim-American group said Sunday.
"I think his remarks should be repudiated by everyone on the political spectrum and that he should withdraw," Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the nation's largest Islamic advocacy group, told the Washington Examiner on Sunday.
Carson, who is third in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings, spoke on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday and said that he wouldn't "advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation."

Go Ben. This is mild. How about there shouldn’t be any Muslims in America? They are all members of a terroristic blood cult bent on the subjugation or destruction of all non-Muslims.
Don't really give a crap what you think. I agree with Ben and feel the President should not belong to a "religion" that thinks lopping off heads, detonating bombs in crowded market places, or stoning people to death is a good idea.

I was talking about that sublime work of art, the bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. Therein lies true liberation for the Moslem.
Regardless of who they are or what office they hold, now or ever, no Muslim will ever be my countryman. I’ll never trust one, nor will I ever respect the vile ideology they cloak as a religion. Islam is the mortal enemy of western civilization, and has been for nearly fourteen centuries. There will never be a peaceful coexistence with them, and eventually one is going to vanquish the other.

Islam, and the exercise of Shari’ah law, is almost totally incompatible with the US Constitution and the body of law that has grown up around it.
For example, the doctrine of keeping and using slaves has been outlawed by the !3th Amendment, very explicitly, and the extension of the right of suffrage to ALL races and genders was guaranteed by the 15th and 19th Amendments.
