Candidate

Try candidates (plural) (We need 2/3 to win the WH):

Cruz, Carson & Fiorina.

Anyone else besides them is a joke. Period.

All of them are anti-PC, anti-establishment, and have really evolved in the areas that count.

Given that, we don’t need Trump.

Well you better get busy telling those thousands upon thousands of people who keep showing up to support Donald Trump that they don't need him.

As for your candidates, I'm four square behind Ted Cruz, he was and remains my first choice. However political reality has a way of upsetting the apple cart.

Carson? Wants to ban assault weapons. Thinks it is a 'waste' not to use aborted fetal tissue for research.

FioRINO? A three time loser, and you know it.

Better rethink all that.

Fiorina is no great shakes. She talks a good game, but has many vulnerabilities. She is also much more ‘mainstream’ than you think. Just last cycle she was running as the ‘moderate’ Republican in California.

Carson is also less qualified. Great surgeon, great man, lots of need for improvement on public policy and showing his ability to get things done outside of an operating theater.

Cruz is my favorite, he would be the best at this point, but lacks the ability to draw outsiders to our cause. He lacks ‘cross over appeal’.

I like people who get things done. Trump gets things done. He has a track record of doing so.

None of the others do.

Trump has lots of faults, but fewer than most politicians as he has not created one iota of the mess we are in. If he is able to get the nomination, at this point he is most likely to do so, I will be more than happy to vote for him.

we don’t need Trump.

How funny, that's exactly what the leftist MSM, the corrupt in D.C., the influence peddlers, Mexico and their murdering drug kingpins have said.

You're in good company Lazy-fairy.

Well except illegal immigration, 2nd amendment, Iran nuclear deal to name a few.

Need him or not...Trumps response in this article to the media’s dribble was perfect. Nice to see him reply with a thought out and well measured response.

I give him an A+

(side note: Time with Cruz is rubbing off)

You can take your Carly and stuff it. You are a fraud just like her.

Do not lump Carly in with Cruz. They are nothing alike.

You've been pushing that line all day. We're not buying.

Your list betrays a level of naïveté that is unusual in a conservative.

Fiorina is a GOPe plant. She is very liberal. Go back and read her positions when she was running for governor. I couldn't support her in the primary, and it wasn't easy in the general election. Not to mention that her executive experience is as an affirmative action hire who wasn't qualified and who screwed up the opportunities she had. Her purchase of Compaq killed HP.

She is only in the race to help Jeb, and hopes for a VP slot if she is needed in a race against Hillary. If she is passed over, she'll take a cabinet position.

Carson is a good man, but he is not solid on immigration, the threshold issue in this election. Without a serious effort on illegal aliens, Republicans and America are done. Take a look at the California legislature. That would be Congress in less than 10 years. Even if he was perfect on the issues, and he is not, there is no way he is going to get enough traction to win the nomination, especially with the rules set up the way they are. He does not have the money, the organization and the personality, to overcome the GOPe that would be arrayed against him if Trump went away and Carson magically became the front runner.

I would not mind seeing him as a VP choice, but I like Cruz more for that role.

As for Cruz, he is my favorite candidate, but he was going nowhere, and wasn't going to gain enough traction to overtake the GOPe roadmap for Bush. He just doesn't have the star power. He is young, and if he is nominated as VP, that would be fantastic. He could be great at strategizing for Trump, and educating him on the conservative philosophy that Trump is not well-grounded on. 8 years from now, Cruz would be well positioned to be the candidate, and he could pick up from where Trump left off. If Trump does things to make us mad during those 8 years, he would still have saved the country from the uniparty, and give Cruz a chance to implement a 100 percent conservative agenda. Right now, that is precluded by the media dominance of the conversation, the schools that have maleducated two generations, and by the greed and corruption of half of the people that should know better, the educated and the productive.

If you like Cruz, you will support Trump. If you like Carly, you are a knucklehead. If you like Carson, you are deluded.

Carson and Fiorina?

Instead of smoking whatever it is you're smoking, you should be selling it.
