This was a royal set up. IIRC, the kid was wearing a NASA shirt when he was arrested. I bet if we look a little bit....we'll find the kid is no genius...but a little smart a**.

I don't hear any classmates jumping to his defense.

If he were such a genius, then why did clock go off in English class?

Either....

1. He’s not such a genius, because of he were that smart, he’d at least know how to set the timer/alarm.

Or....

2. He INTENDED for it to go off in English class either to be a brat and cause a disruption or to cause the scare that his Science teacher warned him of.

Either way, none of that speaks to a stellar/model student the media is making this kid out to be.
