I understand why the media lies about government shutdowns.
I guess I also understand why McCain lies about government shutdowns.

But I really don't understand why I don't see more Republicans -- and more presidential candidates -- explaining to the public that: "WE are funding the government, and allowing it to stay open. THE PRESIDENT is using his veto power to deliberately shutdown the government. And HE'S shutting down the government because killing babies is THAT important to him."

It's all on him. They need to say it.
