They're desperate to stop Trump and are disappointed that he didn't do something to injury himself last night.
(Albeit, I wish he hadn't said that about Rand Paul...served no useful purpose)

You know, I wondered about that too - Trump came right out of the gate at Paul. However, I then remembered that Rand was all over the media blabbering and poking at Trump a few days before the debate. SO, I guess Trump just took his lunch money and shut him down for the night to keep him from yapping at his heels.

I felt that way initially but as I processed it, I decided he was right on the money as usual. Paul had no business being on that stage. CNN only put him there so he could be one more voice attacking Trump, adding to the frenzy. Trump was rightfully pi55ed and Rand needed to be put in his place and he surely was. I’m not sure others will process it the same way I did however.
