'Rip the place out by the roots'

[Cuccinelli] believes GOP leaders could be much tougher...

"Make the Democrats stand up there for hour after hour and defend Iran. Defending Iran! Can you believe we're saying this? Make them do it. Where's the guts on this and, frankly, where are the brains?" ....

Republican leaders dismiss Cuccinelli's approach, saying the party will badly lose the public relations battle if there is a government shutdown and President Obama will never back down on issues...

Cuccinelli said the strategy should be much more aggressive.

"If it were me and I sent him a budget that defunded Planned Parenthood and he vetoed it and he came back, I'd then send a budget that defunded Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities, 'he explained. "If he vetoed that, I'd send him a budget that defunded sanctuary cities, Planned Parenthood and the Iran deal. You get the idea?"

He also says McConnell could have effectively killed the Iran nuclear deal.

"If a senator put in a resolution to approve the Iran deal as a treaty and McConnell brought it to the floor, of course it wouldn't get two-thirds of the vote (for ratification). I would like to see Sen. (Tom) Cotton do that. Of course, I would then expect him to vote against his own resolution to approve it as a treaty," Cuccinelli said.

"Then it will be identified by both houses as a treaty and rejected by the Senate, which has [jurisdiction] over treaties. You could immediately be in court with the president for a preliminary injunction to stop the implementation of the Iran deal immediately. That's easy. You don't even have to win any votes. You just have to hold them. Even if it's filibustered, it would put the Senate in the posture where that litigation is available."

There's only one issue in 2016--- dismantle the establishment GOP. If that's not done, all other issues are meaningless.

The Gelded Old Party.
They’ll fight—if backed into a corner.
By their base.

You are SO RIGHT. Obviously Trump is the ONLY person positioned to do so.

We knock out this bunch from leadership, and hopefully the next bunch ANSWERS TO US, rather than the big money. And the dirty little secret is that, by our numbers (i.e., tens of millions of people), we have HUGE MONEY, and a little bit of math will show that our people can just as easily finance the Republicans (i.e., by skipping a couple of nights out each year). We don’t need the BIG MONEY if all they want is OPEN BORDERS.

I suspect that if you walked down the street and asked the first one hundred Republicans you came across what their number one issue was, you would be hard pressed to find one who said, "dismantling the establishment GOP".

Or GAP(Go Along Party). Go along to get along. So worried about the party losing an election. Never mind the innocent babies that lose their lives to Banned Parenthood.

I disagree.
Tonight at a social event, had you asked the table where I sat it would be 9 yes, dismantle, and 1 (maybe) no.

That would be just one table!

It was not a political event.

We can’t dismantle the rat party without a weapon, and the only weapon short of a civil war is an effective robust opposing political party, and though we are the majority the entrenched leaders of this party are cowardly, corrupt, stupid, and weak. We can’t take on the disciplined and determined left until we get some backbone, and that means we have to remove the flabby self-serving treacherous GOP leadership, in the Senate, the House, and the national party. Then, and only then, we can stop the rats!

Cuccenelli would make a good VP for Trump,Cruz or Rubio.
Unfortunately, i think Walker is about to walk. Before the year is out.

Yes.

Conservatives have had to fight both the RATs and the media. It's maybe a bit much to ask them to do so with the GOPee sitting on their backs.

Maybe so...but ask the first 100 Repubs whether they believe Congress is doing the job you sent them there to do...what would you predict?

the media doesn’t like him. If I were Walker I would walk out of the next debate. To stand there for three hours and not get as much time as Christy or trump gets on a 15 minute news cast, is pathetic. But no one cares. Even when he was polling third the commie media acted as though he didn’t exist.
