I am sorry, but I must disagree.
These primary debates are the time to winnow the field down to a manageable number. Therefore, we need to find the differences between these candidate.
Last nights debate(s) proved one thing if nothing else, the four second tier candidates are in the right place and need to go home.
None of the top tier 11 really did anything to hurt themselves. A couple did make me think they could go further than I had thought.

In my opinion, the biggest winner last night was CNN. Tapper, Bash and Hewett unsuccessfully tried to start a food fight as we all expected. But they did not come off as petty and small as the Fox News three. I may have to check out CNN again.

Hard to have a real debate in 60 second clips. I also recent Fox and CNN making so much off trying to make candidates appears petty, foolish or angry. I would prefer to see real debates on real issues broadcast on CSpan where candidates could have the time to layout their ideas. Cruz is brilliant when given the time to actually speak. Yes I know most of America wouldn't watch CSpan but most don't actually vote either.
