Jeb lives in the USA in the daytime but at night he sleeps in Mexico.

George P.’s mom, boosting Bush, balletHide
Washington Times, The (DC) (Published as THE WASHINGTON TIMES) - OCTOBER 9, 1992

EXCERPT

A native of Guanajuato, Mexico, she met Jeb while they were both in high school and Jeb was visiting Mexico on a cultural exchange program from Phillips Academy, a private boys school in Massachusetts. They fell in love, and after Jeb returned to the United States they remained pen pals. He asked her to marry him during a Christmas visit in 1973.

She says the story of their love affair is “very romantic” and that both his parents and her mother thought, “If you keep a relationship up for three years, it must be something very special.”

The transition, of course, was difficult. When she and Jeb married in 1974 - he was 21, she was 20 - she spoke no English.

“He was so nice,” she says. “I was sure it would work out.

“The thing that is wonderful about love,” she says in her warm vowels, “is that love doesn’t know about politics or race or anything.”

She remains loyal to her native country, although she became an American citizen in 1988. The family travels there twice a year, and she speaks Spanish with Jeb in their home. (”He speaks better than I do!” she reports. But the children are so-so.)

JEB BUSH’S HOUSE BURGLARIZED

Miami Herald, The (FL) - January 7, 1993

Author/Byline: JOAN FLEISCHMAN

The Southwest Dade home of Jeb Bush, son of President Bush, was burglarized over the Christmas holiday while the family was vacationing in Camp David, Md.

The intruder, who broke in Dec. 23 through a rear bedroom
window, stole a $25,000 diamond necklace belonging to Jeb Bush’s wife, Columba, and a $2,000 Baume & Mercier gold watch.

“I’ve been overconfident all of these years,” said Columba Bush, adding she and her husband didn’t set their burglar alarm before they left town. “I never thought this would happen. I love to trust people.”

The Bushes left Miami Dec. 18 for a quick trip to Mexico, Columba Bush’s native country. Two days later they flew north to spend Christmas with President and Mrs. Bush at Camp David.

Her father was an illegal alien. He sent money back to Mexico to have her educated in private schools. She lived with her dad in California. It is not known if she herself was illegal at the time.

JEB BUSH: THE SON RISES AWAY FROM DAD’S SHADOW
Miami Herald, The (FL) - August 15, 1994

EXCERPT

In November 1977, Jeb, with Columba and two babies, was off to Caracas to open a bank branch. Thanks to his ability to speak Spanish and his political connections, the family was quickly accepted in petroleum-rich Venezuela’s society. Jeb pored over oil-company loan documents and kept an eye on borrowers in Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia. His father had recently completed a stint as CIA director, and Jeb got his first taste of international finance. His politics took a sharp turn to the right.

Two years later, Jeb returned to Houston campaigned for his father, then running for president against Ronald Reagan. He flew from primary to primary, touting his dad as a war hero and downplaying his liberal voting record in Congress.

When Reagan won the nomination, Jeb brimmed with anxiety as he waited to hear Reagan’s choice for running mate. “When they announced Bush, Jeb’s face lit up,” said Carlos Salman, a wealthy Miami real-estate investor and Reagan supporter.

As his father took office, Jeb, 27, toyed with a new job, too. “Banking was kind of staid,” he said. He wanted to be wealthy, but he was concerned about getting rich off his father’s name in his father’s home town.

San Francisco Chronicle (CA) (Published as THE SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE) - August 23, 1996

EXCERPT

ANOTHER BUSH SOUNDS OFF ON POLITICS

Columba Bush, daughter-in-law of former President George Bush, mother of the ``little brown’’ grandchildren, was in the Bay Area this week to help promote the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico, which will be opening at the Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco on September 13.

Mrs. Bush, who co-founded the Children’s Educational Fund of the ballet, married Jeb Bush in 1974. Her husband, who lost a bid to be governor of Florida, was a delegate to the GOP convention in San Diego, and she was just up from that event.

Press materials for the ballet identified Mrs. Bush as the daughter-in-law of the former president, and she indicated that her life had been immersed in politics. ``Every two years, we find a campaign to work on,’’ she said. ``It’s very interesting.’’

Q: What was your favorite moment at the convention? A: When my father-in-law spoke, and I liked Colin Powell, too.

Q: Would Colin Powell have made a better vice president for George Bush than Dan Quayle? A: It’s not for me to comment on that.

Q: What was your worst moment at the convention? A: When I had to wear high heels.

Q: What do you think of Hillary Clinton? A: I cannot comment on that. I haven’t followed it very closely.

Q: You were born in Mexico, and became a citizen when you married. What do you think of the Republican policies on immigration? A: Again, I can’t comment. I’m just the wife of a politician.

Q: It’s hard to raise private money to support an arts group. Are you in favor of federal funding? A: That is a government problem. I don’t get involved.

FIRST, LADIES - COLUMBA BUSH: SHY IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Tampa Bay Times (FL) (Published as St. Petersburg Times) - October 28, 1998

EXCERPT

On the fateful evening, Columba was riding around Leon’s central plaza in a car with her sister and a friend of Jeb’s, another exchange student who was dating Lucila. They spotted Jeb standing on a corner and pulled over to say hello. Jeb looked into the back seat, where Columba sat, and greeted her in Spanish.

She remembers thinking, “”Ay, demasiado alto.’’ (He’s too tall.)

Nevertheless, she was charmed.

The couple courted by mail and telephone after he returned home. Three years later they married in the campus chapel at the University of Texas in Austin, where Jeb was about to graduate with a degree in Latin American studies. Columba had completed two years of college in Mexico.

Several Bushes were at the wedding, but Columba had only her sister and mother, who didn’t understand a word of the ceremony. Columba spoke very little English herself.

There was no reception.

The Bushes lived in Austin, Houston and Venezuela while Je worked for Texas Commerce Bank. When they moved to South America, George, their firstborn, was not yet 2. Noelle was 4 months old.

“”That was so hard,’’ Columba recalls. “”I had one baby here, on this hip, and another one on the other hip.’’

By 1979, they were back in Texas. While campaigning for his father, Jeb met Florida developer Armando Codina. The two men discussed a commercial real estate partnership based in Miami.

“”Jeb saw the possibilities of a nice life for us in Florida, so that was what we decided to do,’’ says Columba.

Miami has been home ever since. The pervasive Latin culture is a perfect fit for Columba, who adores Spanish soap operas and spicy food.

“”It’s really comfortable here,’’ she says. “”Everywhere I go, there is Spanish, so I never get to practice my English. That is the only problem.’’

At home Jeb and Columba converse in Spanish. “”When I speak English to him, he doesn’t understand me,’’ she says, laughing.

Columba’s accent is charming. She pronounces her husband’s name as “”Jabe.’’ Sometimes she will tilt her head heavenward and say “”Thanks to God,’’ an Anglicized version of gracias a Dios.

Oddly, she has trained herself to pronounce her own name as cuh-LUM-buh, mimicking English speakers. In Spanish, it is co-LOOM-bah.

The Bush children know Spanish but don’t often use it, she says. “”I speak Spanish to them and they answer me in English.’’

All the children attended Gulliver Academy, a Miami private school where Gloria Estefan sent her son.

TWO PATHS, ONE PRIZE - REPUBLICAN JEB BUSH
Tampa Bay Times (FL) (Published as St. Petersburg Times) - October 18, 1998

EXCERPT

The ‘94 campaign left Jeb Bush’s family life in turmoil. He rarely saw his wife Columba and their three children as he pounded the trail.

“”In order for him to run, he has to work a lot,’’ said Bush’s wife of 24 years. “”You can imagine that it’s impossible to keep in touch with your family. That’s what happened. Of course he didn’t spend enough time with us.’’

Bush says simply: “”I just did not keep my priorities in the proper perspective.’’

Exactly right.

We all know people in our personal and professional lives who purport to be smart but make head-shakingly weird decisions.

The money people who somehow thought it was a good idea to funnel millions of dollars to the third Bush in a little over a quarter century to run for President seriously believing Americans would actually elect him ... Well, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

Does Columnba speak English? I see no sign she is bilingual. She is a monolingual Spanish speaker. This is clearly unacceptable as First Lady of the USA.

Hope Jeb fails.

Where's Columba's green card? Visa? ANYTHING?

It doesn't exist. She came across illegally with her brother. He went back. She didn't. The Bush Crime Family "fixed" it in 1989-91.

Let's take a quick trip down memory lane: At the (gag) La Raza conference in Cali (predated 2014 midterms)--- amnesty pimp Cong Luis Gutierrez (Dim-Ill) vengefully threatened Republicans---intimating hate-filled latinos would make sure they never win another presidency.

(waiting for hysterical laugher to die down)

La Raza President, and chief America hater, Janet Murguia, told La Razans it sickened her to hear Americans chanting "USA." She accused Murietta, Cali protesters of having "cloaked their hatred in patriotism" by shouting "'USA! USA!' again and again."

"It made me angry," she said. "In fact, I was outraged."

Murguia demanded amnesty and said the road to the White House for Republicans goes through the Latino community and La Raza. She also said Republicans who want to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program will not get Hispanic votes.

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

====================================================

Going into 2014 midterms, taking cues from their Central American handlers, organized latino pressure groups were heaping scorn upon those opposed to amnesty---assorted latino pressure groups threatened Republicans with extinction, they rallied around Democrats---saying "the latino vote was going to destroy Republicans."

REALITY CHECK--AMNESTY-SUCKING DEMOCRATS DROWNED IN A SEA OF RED---2014 MIDTERM results evidenced not a single state, local or political entity claiming victory w/ latino votes.

Midterm Map courtesy of http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/here-s-what-a-republican-takeover-looks-likes-20141105

Undecided races at time of publication also went Republican.

2014 was a tsunami that submerged AMNESTY-SUCKING DEMOCRATS in waves of defeat. Democrats who ran on amnesty were soundly defeated.

Fox's Britt Hume said the latino vote was not even a factor. Republicans won historic one-for-the-books elections---from sea to shining sea.

Mexican may change their citizenship but they're sill under the jurisdiction of Mexico.

A sworn affidavit by Mexico’s consul general to a Texas court declares that “Mexico is responsible to protect its nationals wherever they may be residing.”

The Document also admits that Mexico’s official policy is to encourage its poor people to migrate here illegally in order to access the US’s generous welfare system......

This explosive document filed in Texas by the government of Mexico adds fuel to the debate touched off by Donald Trump.....

THE MONEY QUOTE A footnote states that “Mexican nationality is granted to children born abroad of a Mexican born parent.” IOW, anchor babies born in the US retain their parents’ Mexican nationality.

A sworn affidavit by Mexico’s consul general admits that Mexico’s official policy is to encourage its poor people to migrate here illegally in order to access the US’s generous welfare system......declaring that “Mexico is responsible to protect its nationals wherever they may be residing,”

The Mexican consul’s sworn testimony asserts that “My responsibilities in this position include protecting the rights and promoting the interests of my fellow Mexican nationals” and “The main responsibility of consulates is to provide services, assistance, and protection to nationals abroad.”

Ergo, Mexico’s assertion of continuing jurisdiction over its “nationals abroad,” is inconsistent with any claim to automatic US citizenship merely by reason of birth on US soil.

=====================================================

MEXICO IS SLOBBERING AT THE US PUBLIC TROUGH The "impoverished" Mexicans here send BILLIONS of US tax dollars collected under multiple identities BACK to Mexico. The federales are getting a huge cut of that. Prolly Mexico also gets a fee for letting other countries use their border as a gathering place to slither into the US.

=====================================================

Trump accurately tells Americans oil-rich Mexcio is ripping us off royally......and is pocketing billions from deal after deal. This is in addition to millions in US foreign aid to "help" them w/ then the drug cartel problem.

======================================================

NOW GIMMEE THIS AGAIN Mexico's official policy is to send their impoverished classes over the border to ride the US gravy train...but declares that “Mexico is responsible to protect its nationals wherever they may be residing.”

OK....comprende, amigo.

Now tally up the welfare bill and send it to Mexico.
