A great sense of humor is a sign of great intelligence.
Those tears were not just tears of laughter, they quickly became tears of sorrow when I remembered those days and then came back to the 21st century and realized that my grandchildren know nothing about the good times for the American people that are gone but not forgotten by many of us who lived in that day and time. Not everything was great about that era by a long shot, but at least we could be proud of our President and that hasn't been the case since then, especially not for the last 7 disastrous years.
