I agree that Unions should be prohibited from donating to politicians and political parties. I agree that there should be a national right to work law.
Having said that, I haven’t found any federal unions that are compulsory. Not all federal agencies operate on taxpayer funds. For instance, the Postal Service, which has at least four unions, is not on budget at all but operates on its own revenue.
Teachers unions should be abolished because they protect incompetent teachers and damage the educational system. The Dept. of Education should be dismantled.
Beyond that, a national Right to Work law may be all that is needed.
No, the confiscation of “dues” from public employee’s paychecks to fund the Democrat Machine must end.
And the NLRB needs to go, it’s killing small businesses.
That was the problem with liberal opposition to Citizens United.
Liberal unions could donate to candidates, in the Democrat desired schema, but non-union organizations with their own interests can’t.
Time to pass not only the National Right to Work law, but the Freedom from Union Violence Act as well.
