I am not unsympathetic to the parents but....
These girls went with these guys willingly.
They were not kidnapped, they ran away.
Perhaps instead of sheltering these girls they should have exposed them to the real danger out there. They should have explained to them that they were not all that special. Anyone who offers them a big shot career is not doing it because they are oh so talented.

The Mexican culture is terrifically violent toward women.
Drinking and driving, wife-beating, and child-molesting = weekend hobbies for far too many Mexican men in the USA. Can’t be any better in their home country.

I disagree with that. Parents should instead increase camera surveillance security against such international slavers and take them down.
