Rebel billionaires eager to follow Trump into politics
Politico ^ | September 14, 2015 | BEN SCHRECKINGER

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is so impressed with Donald Trump’s success that he is now considering running for office himself.

“I love the fact that he has changed the game. … The idea of imperfect candidates with forceful ideas opens the door for a lot of people that would not have previously run,” said Cuban, cautioning that if he were to follow Trump’s example, “My positions would be far different.”

Cuban — who in the past has feuded with his fellow rebel billionaire — is hosting a Monday mega-rally for Trump at his Dallas arena. The Republican frontrunner called to ask about using the venue and Cuban saw the opportunity to strike a deal. “Our arena is amazing and his checks will clear,” explained the Mavericks owner.

Cuban is not the only famous, and famously, rich guy moved to reevaluate his view that the only people to succeed in public service are second-rate hacks who are full of baloney. Inspired by seeing one of their own do it, a slew of flamboyant moguls are giving politics a second look.

“Why would having government experience be a plus for a presidential candidate?” asked one-time multi-millionaire software pioneer John McAfee. The former fugitive from authorities in Belize who was arrested on DUI charges in Tennessee last month is now running for president. “I’d rather have a Trump, or I’d rather have a man on the street who has no knowledge of government.”

Unlike hip-hop mogul Kanye West, who may or may not have been sincere when he announced at the MTV Video Music Awards that he would seek the White House in 2020, McAfee is unambiguously serious about his campaign. He filed the papers for a third-party presidential bid with the FEC on Tuesday.

Mark Cuban is a thoroughly evil man who supported the murder of President George W. Bush. He’s also a draft dodger. Donald Trump, a good man, ought to distance himself from the despicable Cuban.

Much different from what we normally have - imperfect candidates with no ideas whatsoever...

Cuban is deep into insider trading. The only reason he got off his first insider trading trial was because it was held in Dallas where he owns their basketball team.

He is on record for shorting a bunch of Chinese reverse merger stocks and driving the price down through use of his HFTs and negative articles he would publish on his own website, sharesleuth.com. He has driven many companies out of business that were actually solvent. He is doing it now to Kandi, the #1 electric car company in China. He’s even admitted it.

Why is it that when people are allowed to get away with crimes they then think that they should be telling everyone else how to live?

Not to defend Mark, but how is he a draft dodger when he was 18 in 1976?

Add a thought....Bush and Clinton could finance their campaigns. Yet, their hands are always out for MORE of other people’s money.

He's a communist and sides with Red China. That makes him an anti-American draft dodger in my book. Plus, the lowlife scum never served even a day in the military.

Mark Cuban was behind the 2006 move, “Death of a President”, which glamorized the assassination of President George W. Bush.
