Russia shipping tanks into Syria, in ‘first clear sign of offensive weapons’

Russian offensive operations could launch from Bassel Al-Assad International Airport "very soon."

The massive Condor flights carrying all kinds of supplies now arrive twice a day through Iran and Iraq into Bassel Al-Assad International Airport outside the port city of Latakia. The cargo is for Russian soldiers, not Syrian government forces, but is seen as a build-up to aid Bashar Assad's embattled regime.

The defense official, briefed on the latest satellite photos of the Syrian coastline, said: "This is the largest deployment of Russian forces outside the former Soviet Union since the collapse of the USSR."

The two additional Russian ships arrived over the weekend in Tartus, a Syrian port used by the Russian Navy since the '70s. The ships offloaded additional troops and armor and, for the first time, a half-dozen third-generation T-90 main battle tanks.

Accompanying the tanks were 15 fresh artillery pieces.

The base at Tartus is important to the Russians, as well as for the regime as a pipeline for arms and supplies.

That they are sending advanced AIR DEFENSE assets for it should tell us something, but the Obamunists have an agenda to fulfill.

The US and Russia are on opposite sides in this war. This isn’t good.

Obama says he's "really good at killing people". Here's his chance.

Well, we’ll see how good they are at commanding a combined arms operation.

Yeah. And it's Russia that can stop ISIS from having a corridor to the Med. And hopefully make Syria safe enough for the real refugees, the Christians and other minorities, to live there.

Something's very wrong when the US gov is on the side of pure evil.

Don’t forget the Typhoon Nuclear Sub with 20 ICBMs (each missile has 12 Nuclear Warheads, and can individually target 12 different cities with 1 ICBM or a grand total of 220 cities it can vaporize)

Obama said he opposes Assad. Russia says they want to keep Assad in power.

Has ValJar told Obama to change sides?

Everybody’s up to something.

The question is, is it a bunch of different somethings, or the same something?

"Obama says he's "really good at killing people". Here's his chance."

Not a chance. He might try to cause more trouble through proxies, but he won't attack Russia directly. The Russians can shoot back. Obama's biggest problem here is his defacto ISIS allies might have a problem and will need more US weapons and support to clear Assad away for the Greater Caliphate.

I think he opposed Assad until ISIS came into the picture. Honestly, I think he abandoned the whole thing at that point because there is no good optic in this narrative for him.
Fortunately for him, the media is going to cover for him.
Now that Russia is on the ground, the massacres can begin. That’s why the refugees are showing up and how they will end the civil war.

Another gaping hole brought to you by O, Harry and Nancy.

Great job, guys. Now, with the Iran deal, WW3 and Gog-Magog are on the way.
