At least the bottom feeders that you’re referring to serve a USEFUL purpose in the world. Congress, not so much.

Thank you for referencing that article Paul46360. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

With respect to the few laws that Congress has passed, the author of the referenced article unsurprisingly overlooks the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers. In fact, note that one of the very few powers that the states have actually delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, which is related to INTRAstate commerce is to regulate the US Mail Service (1.8.7). Most other vote-winning federal government social spending programs are unconstitutional imo.

On the other hand, while Congress is arguably not making enough laws, corrupt Congress is wrongly ignoring the following. The Founding States had made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, evidently a good place to hide these clauses from Congress, to clarify that all federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or judicial branches, or in non-elected bureaucrats like those running the EPA. So Congress has a constitutional “monopoly” on federal legislative powers whether it wants it or not.

So regardless of the complaint that Congress isn’t making enough laws, presumably to regulate the US Mail Service where domestic issues are concerned, Congress is wrongly ignoring Sections 1-3 mentioned above by letting the following happen. Congress is allowing lawless presidents to make unconstitutional executive orders excuses, likewise allowing non-elected federal bureaucrats to get away with making unpopular regulations, and likewise allowing activist justices to legislate gay agenda “rights” from the bench, all these third parties exercising federal legislative powers that they have stolen from Congress, corrupt Congress actually letting these third parties get away with doing so despite the fact that the states have never delegated to Congress, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to address most (all?) of these issues in the first place.

And by letting third parties get away with unconstitutionally exercising federal legislative powers, again, powers that Congress don’t have the constitutional authority to address, not only are these third parties arguably making up for any legislation that Congress is seemingly too lazy to make, but corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting such powers from the wrath of the voters by allowing these things to happen.

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators who allow third parties to wrongly uses federal legislative powers to unconstitutionally burden the states and their citizens as well.

I was surprised to hear that democrat mouthpieces like Juan Castro and Keith Ellison were on the list.

Sounds exactly like what we want in a government. Once that isn’t passing stupid, numerous and unnecessary laws.

That would be true if they didn't allow the king to make laws.

Is there a list of these congressrats showing state, party and effectiveness rating?

It takes forever to scroll through the photos, etc. due to the advertising that’s attached.
