According to a July Gallup poll, public approval of Congress has fallen to near-record lows. On average, 34% of the population approves of a given Congress. The current 114th Congress has a 17% approval rating.
Americans have reason to be concerned. According to GovTrack.us, the last two Congresses have enacted fewer laws than any other Congress since 1947. And the 114th Congress may just surpass them all in terms of doing nothing.

I don’t want a congress that go’s about creating more laws..I want a congress to go out and kill a lot of out of date laws and laws that violate the constitution every day.

Least effective?
“the last two Congresses have enacted fewer laws than any other Congress since 1947.”
Sounds exactly like what we want in a government. Once that isn’t passing stupid, numerous and unnecessary laws.

I think a Congress that passes fewer laws is a better Congress. The matter of law is not about keeping score.

There’s what, 535 of them altogether. I would say about 530 of them are competely worthless bottom feeders, and the rest may possibly have some sort of redeeming quality, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

I'd be more effective if those mean old conservatives stopped picking on me. And if Obama and Nancy Pelosi stopped bullying me!!

And the 114th Congress may just surpass them all in terms of doing nothing.
And what they have done is patently wrong and against the wishes of the American voters.

According to GovTrack.us, the last two Congresses have enacted fewer laws than any other Congress since 1947.Hey Alex! That's a good thing. I can't wait until Congress starts repealing laws.
Think about it, Alex...
If you can.

The ones who really want to get rid of Obama care. The ones who really don't like the Iran treaty. The ones who don't want gays in the military. The ones who don't want tranny's in the military. The ones who really oppose abortion and fetal tissue sales.
Who knows which ones really oppose these things though.

Make it simple. 98% of all of em. That imples that 11 are effective. I think you're being generous.

Once again..aligning members with REAL bottom feeders of the animal world such a negative attack against those defenseless creatures. The REAL bottom feeders that is.
To: DoodleDawg
If 11 are effective, they are not effective at all; since Congress hasn’t repealed any of the BAD laws they “ineffective” have been passing since the 1932 election.

Seems like most every week we receive more regs from the EPA, HHS, BLM, NLRB, IRS, etc. that are enforced. Why do we even need a Congress?
