I prefer your solution (eliminate ISIS). But there is also an intermediate solution. The West could set up well-maintained refugee camps right along the Sryian-Turkish border, or perhaps just inside Turkey itself.

That would protect the true refugees. But it would require at least some support from Turkey. And Turkey likes this present chaotic situation very much.

Very few of these are refugees. This is the Hijrah. Erdogan, as a muzzie fundie, supports the Hijrah. Therefore Erdogan would never allow the US (or anyone else) to prevent that.
