2008

December: President Obama nominates Hillary Clinton for secretary of state. 2009

Jan. 13: Reports say the clintonemail.com domain was established.

Jan. 21: Senate confirms Clinton as secretary of state.

March 18: Clinton will later name this as the date she began using a private server for government business.

2012

Sept. 11: Islamic extremists launch the terrorist attacks on U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, killing Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

October: Clinton convenes Accountability Review Board (ARB) to investigate State Dept. actions surrounding Benghazi.

After the ARB and Congress call for Benghazi-related documents, top Clinton aides Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan are allegedly present at a document sorting session in the basement of the State Dept., according to Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond Maxwell, who later told me he witnessed the operation. No law enforcement body contacted or interviewed Maxwell.

Nov. 7: Judicial Watch files Freedom of Information (FOI) Act request with State Dept. for Benghazi-related emails and other information.

December: I (then at CBS News) file a Freedom of Information Act request with the State Dept. for Benghazi-related emails and other information.

Dec. 10, 2012: Clinton cancels a trip due North Africa and the mideast to “illness” and a “bug.” State Dept. does not disclose she has fallen and received a head injury. . .

Someone needs to ask Mrs. Bill Clinton:

You have repeatedly said you did not send or receive classified emails on your home server.

What procedures did you distribute to other federal agencies with regard to sending classified information to your @Clintonemail.com server?

What was your preferred method for sending/receiving classified information to/from other federal agencies including POTUS?

We're asked to believe that she was given permission by the State Dept. to use a personal email server for official government business. Then we're asked to believe that she was allowed to choose who was to set the server up, that it was not installed by top govt IT personnel who are versed in gov't security techniques & protocol?

Does not pass the smell test. Why is nobody demanding answers about who granted the permission and who decided it was ok to let Tom, Dick & Harry's Most Excellent Email Service to handle our country's top secret intel communications?

I can believe that she was given permission by the State Dept. to use a personal email server for official government business. In fact, it was probably approved personally by the head of the department, the Secretary of State.

So she took office on Jan. 21 and conducted no business of any kind for nearly two months? Too many parties to attend?

Hadn’t heard that the IT guy, Pagliano had already gone before the committee in private. I wish they had done it in public as it would have brought this to the attention of a lot of the public who still don’t have a clue.

President Obama chose not to appoint a Inspector General for the State Department when the Bush Admin IG left. One was appointed in the last two years, so there was NO ONE looking for this kind of stuff. The conspiracy/idiocy was all the way to the top.

It just seems inconceivable to me that there -- apparently -- was no protocol for establishing a secure communications path for email. I worked for a major company that takes measures to protect their trade secrets. They provide the computers and software on a secure internal network that's insulated from the internet, setup email accounts, and issue very clear guidelines with regard to its use. Do I have to mention that there were daily backups of the contents of both my unix workstation and the PC on my desk?

The security protocol for my employer should pale in comparison to that required by the U.S. government. And, in reality, it probably does, unless you happen to be a high-ranking Democrat whose abuse and lawbreaking is to be underplayed and overlooked. "It wouldn't be good for the country" for her to be subjected to arrest, detention and trial the way a nobody would.

I'm expected to believe that they went to Hillary and asked if she had an old computer she wanted to use, or just told her to run down to Best Buy and pick up an eMachines box? 'What would you like to use for email? Yahoo? AOL? Oh, you're gonna put together your own server? No problem!'

Absolute bullsh*t! We're being force-fed the biggest load of crap that floated in a toilet bowl.
