-- He didn't go to the hospital and so was not counted among the wounded. --

There is at least one version where he went to the hospital and the police knew he was there.

A Tribute to Spaz.... The Bandido Who Didn't Really Run Away... : amyirenewhite.wordpress.com

He was hospitalized for 2 days in Waco under guard before being released. ...

He also wasn't the only one treated this way.. Cossack Philco was also shot and hospitalized then allowed to go home, and allegedly had a cop bullet in him. There is no pattern or reason to the injured that the cops chose to arrest or set free that anyone can tell.

Thanks for that touching link.

If he was hospitalized, and among the 18 wounded, he would be one of the Bandidos wounded who was not arrested. Most of the other wounded who were not arrested, seemingly were Cossacks. I have no clue what this all means to the various theories, but sympathies to the wounded and the dead. That has been my emphasis. Well, for the dead, their families, as the sadly dead are beyond suffering other than for those left behind.

So now it seems there are both in the Cossack and Bandido sides who were wounded and not arrested . . .

?? As you say, we can’t know the reason why some wounded were arrested and some were not. Now we have examples of both Cossacks and Bandidos wounded (as you say) who were not arrested.
